The glow on her face is unmistakable. She is just 25 has portrayed solid characters and has swept us off our feet with her fabulous performances. Alia Bhatt is riding a success wave with her trademark panache. Look at her filmography and the choices she has made only add the much needed edge to her versatility. Be it Highway, Udta Punjab and now Raazi, Alia Bhatt is a talent that can stun you with beyond belief. But in a candid confession Alia maintains that she loves to make people cry.
No Alia is not discussing the vicarious pleasure or thrill she gets by making people cry. “We were proud of the film but the kind of unanimous reaction we are getting for the film is amazing. We all are pleasantly shocked. I am really happy, especially for Meghna Gulzar (director) because I think she hasn’t slept for God knows how many months," said Alia in an interview.
She also added “She (Meghna) was so nervous before the release of the film but the audience has given so much love that we are so grateful. Some people were crying after watching the film and I feel really happy when I make people cry through my films. Then I feel we have done our job.”
After enjoying the success of Raazi, Alia is gearing up for this interesting line up for movies. Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boys, followed by Madhuri Dixit starrer Kalank, after which Alia will be seen Ranbir Kapoor starrer Ayan Mukerji's Bramhastra!
