There has been a rumour going around for some time that there is a new couple in B-town. If gossip is to be believed, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are more than just co-stars. Ranbir and Alia have been getting on like fire, ever since they had started shooting for Brahmastra. Even though the two have never admitted that they are dating, Alia and Ranbir are surely giving out friendship goals. They had been spotted together at various parts of the city, though either Karan Johar or director Ayan Mukerji is seen hanging out with them. And Alia and Ranbir make it a point not to get clicked together.
Recently a video has gone viral where Alia Bhatt is seen talking about her childhood crush on Ranbir Kapoor, while the latter was also on stage with her. BollywoodLife reports this video to be taken during the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year 2017 awards last year where Alia and Ranbir were special guests.
In the video, a blushing Alia Bhatt reveals how at the age of 11, she was asked to do a photoshoot with Ranbir and she was too shy to even place her head on his shoulder. She was seen saying, "I was just 11 years old. He was assisting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and I had to do a photoshoot with him. And I was so shy because I was asked to place my head on his shoulder. And I just could not do it. It was a really shy moment for me. But I think Ranbir has been a very great supporter of my career. He had even called me after watching Highway. But I have to say that I have always been a Ranbir loyalist since Saawariya and it has never changed." All this while, Ranbir had a bemused expression on his face.
While we don't know if the rumoured couple will ever come out about their relationship, they sure have the sparks between them. Talking about Brahmastra, the movie has both Ranbir and Alia play superpowered individuals in what is a beginning of a franchise. Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy have important roles in the movie as well.
