Ever since the news of her much-anticipated Social Media debut trickled into our bay, fans have been waiting with patience. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too must have expected a spectacular Instagram debut herself. While hubby Abhishek Bachchan and father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan have made their mega presence felt on almost every social media platform including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, Ash has not been exactly social media savvy. Naturally, the news about her Insta debut created so much noise.

But we must inform you with a heavy heart that the beauty has not received the kind of response expected by her fans. PinkVila reports that according to their reliable source Ash is not happy with the followers she has garnered.

"Aishwarya is upset with the way her social media debut happened. This is not what she expected. In 6 hours her profile has not even crossed 20,000 followers, which is very unlikely, given her popularity. She is also upset that there is no blue tick on her profile, making people wonder about the authenticity of the profile."

Given her incredible portfolio and the image she has the globe over, Ash's staff was expecting quite an excitement over the debut. Sadly,  the numbers were not exactly great to write back home about. It was also reported the blame is placed on the absence of the much needed blue tick mark which would have created given the authentification for her followers. We hope in the days to come Ash will hit the mark of her desirable number of followers.
