One look at this one and we could not help but rub our eyes in utter disbelief! Rajkumar Rao and Nargis Fakhri in the same movie! Oh really? Rao who is the poster boy of content-driven, serious cinema is placed right alongside Nargis who is more commercial (and dare we say colourful) on the poster of  5 Weddings. The first visual is out and this film will premier at Cannes on 10 May.  In India this movie is slated for August 24 release.

But then again, there's more to this drama than meets the eye. Directed by Namrata Singh Gujral 5 weddings stars Academy Award nominee Candy Clark, Golden Globe nominee Bo Derek and Dutch-American actor Anneliese Van der Pol. Fakhri plays an American journalist who lands in India to write about a Bollywood wedding, that's when Rajkumar Rao as a cop poses hurdles as he feels the lady is a spy.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the first look of the film on Twitter. Rajkummar Rao, Nargis Fakhri, Bo Derek and Candy Clark... First look poster of international film #5Weddings... In her interview with The Indian Express Gujral had stated that  she was thrilled that 5 Weddings will have its global premiere at Cannes in May. "It will be the first time audiences will be able to watch the film. It is immensely exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. Americans are loving the film – so, I hope the French like it too,"
