TVS Apache RR 310 India Prices Increased by Rs 8,000; Price Cut for TVS Wego

TVS Motor, a Hosur based two-wheeler company launched its flagship motorcycle - TVS Apache RR 310S in the country towards the end of last year at an introductory price tag of 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company has revised the prices for the first supersport motorcycle which now attract buyers by Rs. 8000 that is now priced at Rs. 2.13 lakh (ex-showroom). Talking about TVS Apache RR 310S, the flagship motorcycle comes powered by a 312cc single-cylinder motor tuned to make maximum power of 34hp with peak torque of 27.3Nm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Touted as supersport motorcycle, the company claims that the flagship model can hit the top speed of 160kmph.

The motorcycle can accelerate to 60kmph from standstill position in just 2.09 seconds. Carrying Apache racing DNA, the motorcycle is manufactured at company's facility in Hosur which competes against KTM RC 390, Benelli 302R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and others. On the other hand, the TVS Wego sees a price dip of Rs. 2000 with an aim to revive the sales for the scooter as the company retailed only 1,901 units in the month of February. On the mechanical front, the scooter gets 109.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder motor which is tund to make maximum power of 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm against the peak torque of 8.4Nm @ 5,500rpm.

On the feature front, the scooter gets a fully digital instrument panel, Power and Eco mode indicator, external fuel filler cap, under seat mobile charger as an option, LED tail-light and more. The Wego scooter rivals in the 110 scooter space by competing against Honda Activa-i, Suzuki Lets, Yamaha Ray-Z and Hero Pleasure.
