Toyota Yaris 2018 Launched in India with a Starting Price of Rs. 8.75 Lakh; Will Challenge Maruti Ciaz & Honda City

With the demand for the sedans in the domestic market continues to grow, Toyota Kirloskar Motor too has launched its contender in the mid-size sedan segment - Toyota Yaris in India today. Launched with an introductory price of Rs. 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom), the sedan from the house of Japanese car maker is offered in 8 variants across 4 trim levels - J, G, V and VX. On the exterior front, the 2018 Toyota Yaris sports a conventional yet intimaditing design as it carries chrome finished grille that is accentuated by LED projector headlights and LED DRLS. It also gets fog lamps, wider air vents, chrome door handles, shark fin antenna, 15-inch alloy wheels, turn indicators with ORVMs and LED tail lights and more. Talking about the dimensions, the sedan gets 4425mm, 1730mm and 1495mm of length, width and height respectively while the wheelbase stands at 2550mm. The sedan is made available in 6 exciting shades - Wildfire Red, Pearl White, Phantom Brown, Super White, Grey Metallic and Silver Metallic.

Talking about the features, the sedan comes loaded with a 7-inch LED touchscreen panel with navigation, MID display, cruise control, paddle shifters, rain sensing wipers, 7 SRS airbags, ABS with EBD and BA, TPMS, parking sensors with camera, start stop button, keyless entry, rear arm rest and more. As far as the engine specs are concerned, the all-new Yaris sedan comes powered by a 1.5L Dual VVTi petrol engine which is tuned to develop 107PS of maximum power @ 6000 rpm with peak torque of 140Nm @ 4200 rpm. The transmission duties on the 2018 Yaris are carried out by a 6-speed manual and 7-speed CVT gearbox.
