Tata Tigor Buzz Edition Launched in India; Price starts from Rs 5.68 Lakh

The newly launched Tigor Buzz Edition sub-compact sedan is premium by around Rs 40000 than the standard Tata Tigor.

Tata Motors, a home grown auto manufacturer has launched a limited edition variant of its popular Tigor range. Priced at Rs. 5.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Tigor Buzz edition compact sedan is offered in both petrol and diesel engine options. Offered on the mid-spec XT trim, the buzz edition will be seen with manual transmission only. The car will be offered at all Tata dealerships across the country. Visually, the newly launched Tata Tigor Buzz edition gets black treatment on the roof and ORVMs that gives a sporty appeal to the sedan. The overall appearance of the new Tigor Buzz edition is accentuated by the red accents added on the grille and alloy wheels along with Buzz badging on the boot lid. The red treatment also continues on the inside as well. The cabin features red accents around centre console and AC vents, new fabric seats, piano black inserts and more. Dimension-wise, the sedan remains similar to the regular model with 3992mm of length, 1677mm of width and 1537mm of height along with wheelbase of 2450mm and ground clearance of 170mm.

As far as the powerhouse is concerned, the powertrain options remains untouched likewise the regular Tigor compact sedan. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre Revotron unit tuned to make 85PS and 114NM of torque while the diesel unit is 1.05-litre turbocharged Revotorq motor capable of making 70PS and 140Nm. Both the engines comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. On the safety front, the sedan gets ABS with EBD, follow me home lamps, parking assistance with rear sensors and more. The regular XM petrol variant of the sedan is available for purchase at Rs. 5.2 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) whereas the diesel variant on the same trim is priced at Rs. 6.05 lakh. The sedan competes against the likes Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze in the competitive sub-compact space.
