Mumbai, June 17: Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) recently released crash test results of two fully electric SUVs - Nexon EV and Punch EV. The latest result is a part of the first batch of cars crash tested by BNCAP, which also included Harrier and Safari alongside the two EVs. For starters, the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (BNCAP) is a rating-based safety assessment program, like GNCAP, that gauges the vehicle’s crashworthiness and safety features for India. Tata Nexon EV and Punch EV have bagged a 5-star safety rating at Bharat NCAP or BNCAP, joining a league of safer cars for occupants. Tata’s sub-compact SUVs are the first electric vehicles to receive five stars in the car assessment program for the EV category. MG Hector, Hector Plus & Astor See Price Hike on Select Variants.
