Dimensionally, the SUV will measure 4598mm in length, 1894mm in width, 1706mm in height along with wheelbase and ground clearance of 2741mm and 205mm respectively.
When launched, Tata Harrier SUV will compete against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass and newly launched Renault Kicks.ย

Powering the Tata Harrier will be Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that also powers Jeep Compass. The oil burner is tuned to produce 140PS of maximum power with 350Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. Inside the cabin, the SUV will be also carry premium cabin space and host of features. Some of the features are 8.8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, 9-speaker JBL sound system, 7-inch MID, cruise control, automatic headlamps, push button start-stop and auto climate control, HID projector headlamps and much more. The company is expected to launch the new Tata Harrier 2019 SUV somewhere around Rs 13 lakh to Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom).
