New Delhi, February 7: Home-grown auto major Tata Motors on Wednesday unveiled two concepts-- H5X and 45X at the 14th edition of Auto Expo 2018. While the SUV concept is called the H5X, the hatchback is called the 45X. The Auto Expo, that kicked off at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida on Wednesday saw a wide range of launches. The auto companies that made it big by making new offerings for Indian markets include Tata Motors, Kia Motors, Renault, Honda and Hyundai among others.
The 45X Concept is a premium hatchback based on an advanced modular platform from Tata Motors. The 45x design is bold and self-assured and at a larger level. Its concept is a direct competition to Hyundai i20. The 45X is also based on the Impact Design 2.0.
The 45X Tata Motors concept car is based on an all-new platform which has sharp styling. It is believed that the H5X will bridge the gap between the Nexon and the Hexa. As per reports, Tata Motors also has the Safari SUV in its line-up.

The 45X Concept is based on the second new platform that will be the backbone of hatchbacks and compact sedans of the future from the Indian carmaker. Reports state that the production version of the 45X will be the first model to be built on Tata’s AMP platform and is likely to go on sale in 2019.

As per reports, both the cars will be available in battery-powered versions and will comply with Bharat Stage VI emission standards. Reports state that H5X and the 45X is designed by engineers from India, Italy and the UK.
