Renault Triber Launching in India on August 28; Expected Price, Features, Dimensions, Interiors & Specifications
Renault India is all set to launch the new Triber MPV in India on August 28, 2019. The new MPV is expected to be priced from 5.5 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom India).
Renault, the French auto maker has officially confirmed that Renault Triber will be launched in the country on August 28. The car maker will be officially commencing the bookings for the upcoming Triber on August 17, 2019. The interested customers will be able to pre-book the Triber MPV online through official website and across all Renault Dealerships across India with an upfront payment of Rs 11,000. As a reminder, the seven-seater car was unveiled in India earlier this year in June. As far as the positioning is concerned, the new Triber will sit between Kwid hatchback and Duster compact SUV. The forthcoming MPV will be Renault's first all-new product after Captur, which was launched in India two years ago. Dimensionally, the Triber1 will measure 3,990 mm in length, 1739 mm in width and 1643 mm in height. The wheelbase of the car will stand at 2,636 mm and the ground clearance will be 182 mm.
Mechanically, the upcoming Triber will be offered in a single powertrain option. The unit will be a 1.0-litre petrol engine that can produce maximum power of 72hp against peak torque of 96Nm. The transmission duties will be carried out to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. However, an AMT version is also expected with a turbo-petrol unit. However, that is expected to be introduced later on.
On the inside, the MPV will sport a dual-tone cabin featuring a neatly designed layout along with uncluttered dashboard. The MPV will be feature a 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit capable with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with navigation. On the safety front, the Triber MPV will get dual airbags, ABS, reverse parking sensors, three-point seat belts. Moreover, the top-end model is also expected to get a front-side airbag too.
