Mahindra e2o Plus: Mahindra launched the successor to e2o in India last year in September which is called as e2o Plus which is priced at Rs. 7.37 lakh (ex-showroom post subsidy). The new Mahindra e2o Plus comes with futuristic technology, safety, better driving mechanism and lower cost. The electric car from Mahindra is offered in 3 variants - P2, P4 and P6 wherein the P2 variant gets driving range of 140kms while the remaining two versions get range of 110kms. It comes fitted with a 3-phase AC induction motor which is tuned to produce 19Kw of max power @ 3500 rpm with peak torque of 70Nm @ 1050 rpm. As far as the charging is concerned, the e2o Plus can in minimum 6 hours via normal charger while using fast charger, the EV can be charged in just 1 hour and 35 mins. Mahindra e-Verito: Foreseeing the need of EVs in the future, Mahindra also offers Mahindra eVerito which is cost effective, low on maintenance, low running cost and much more. Touted as India's first electric sedan, the Mahindra eVerito comes in 4 variants - C2, D2, D4 & D6. As far as the driving range is concerned, the lower variant gets a range of 110kms while the range for other 3 variants stands at 140kms. The Electric sedan is equipped with 3-phase AC induction motor tuned to make 31KW of power @ 4000 rpm and 91Nm of peak torque @ 3000 rpm. The sedan can be charged in 8 hours & 30 mins as normal charging while the fast charging can be done in just 1 hour and 20 mins.

Toyota Prius: Toyota is also focusing on the electric platform, wherein the Japanese car maker is offering Toyota Prius hybrid in the country.
