New Delhi, July 23: The Nissan X-Trail SUV, based on the CMF-C platform, is set to launch on August 1, 2024. However, ahead of the launch, the booking for the SUV is open to some dealers. Nissan revealed the car last week, offering the first look at the design and expected specifications. The Nissan X-Trail was launched in Japan in 2022, and it bears the same specifications, design, and features that will come in the Indian version. The all-new Nissan X-Trail will compete with other models in the segment, including MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian, etc. 

Ahead of the Nissan X-Trail's launch on August 1, some dealers started accepting bookings' requests from Indian customers. We reached out to some dealers and they confirmed that the Nissan X-Trails bookings were open on showroom. The upcoming Nissan X-Trail will be launched with a 3-row seat configuration, while the global version comes with a 5-seater and 7-seater configuration. It has a wheelbase of 2,705mm and 210mm of ground clearance. Nissan X-Trail Specifications, Features and Design

The upcoming Nissan SUV will offer a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster unit and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The X-Trail will have a dual-zone automatic climate control, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, wireless charging, ABS with EBD, 7-airbags, 360-degree cameras, panoramic sunroof and more. The SUV will also offer sliding and reclining second-row seats and paddle shifters. 

The Nissan X-Trail will have a premium look and a signature-style dark chromed V-Motion grille. The SUV will come with split-style headlamps, wrap-around LED taillights, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and rounded wheel arches with plastic cladding. Nissan X-Trail Price in India (Expected)

Nissan X-Trail will be powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine paired with a strong-hybrid system that would generate a maximum of 201 hp power and 305 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be mated with a CVT (continuously variable transmission) automatic gearbox. The Nissan X-Trail price in India is expected to be around INR 35 to 40 lakh. We reached out to some of the dealers in New Delhi and Mumbai and confirmed that they accept pre-booking for the SUV for INR 8 lakh as token amount.
