Hence, it very natural that the auto majors will want to begin 2023 on a positive note by launching new cars to further enhance sales numbers.

Important car launches expected to take place in January 2023 :
Mercedes-AMG E53 Cabriolet
Mercedes-Benz India is reportedly all braced up to launch its AMG E53 Cabriolet high-performance convertible. The AMG branded stunner will launch on January 6, 2023.
The Mercedes-Benz E53 Cabriolet gets powered by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol mild-hybrid engine offering 429 BHP and 520 Nm and is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission empowered by the 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system.
BMW X1
Luxury brand BMW has also opened pre-bookings of its next generation X1 through few of its dealerships for a token amount of just Rs 50,000. The nee-gen BMW X1 is likely to be launched at the third BMW Joytown festival on January 28 that will be held in Bangalore.
BMW 7 Series & i7
The next-generation BMW 7 Series and i7 electric limousine models will also be launched on January 7, and these will be breaking their covers in India at Joytown, Mumbai.
The new-gen BMW 7 Series comes with a petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains ranging in the global markets, while the BMW i7 is the all-electric version of the 7 Series that packs in powerful electric motors and a 101.7 kWh battery pack. Hyundai Ioniq 5
Hyundai has already unveiled its Ioniq 5 premium EV for India and bookings have also commenced for a token amount of Rs 1 lakh. The Hyundai Ioniq is finally expected to go on sale this month post its official launch at the Auto Expo 2023. The gorgeous Ioniq premium EV packs in a large battery pack offering a range of 631 km and supports 800V fast charging.
Kia Carnival
Hyundai’s sister concern Kia is all geared up to debut the next-generation Carnival at the Auto Expo 2023 followed by its official market availability for sale. The Kia Carnival is currently in its fourth-generation model in the global markets, which will be brought to India, albeit with some India-spec changes and features.
