Renault, the French car automaker will be launching the new Facelifted Duster compact SUV today in India. The car maker is planning to bring the third generation of the SUV in the year 2022 and will be skipping the second generation of the SUV completely. Until then, we could see facelifted avatars of the SUV for the Indian market. As the fact that Captur has seen poor sales since launch, the updated Duster will be car maker's mainstay in the competitive SUV segment. 2019 Renault Duster SUV Facelift Spotted Launching in India on July 8.
The upcoming Duster facelift is expected to retain the prices of the current model, atleast for the base variants. So, we can speculate that the new Duster facelift will carry a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Duster will bolder than ever as the company will be incorporating massive changes inside out while the mechanical front will remain untouched. The design updates on the SUV will be the main attraction which will carry new heavily chromed front grille, new front bumper with skid plate, redesigned fog lamp, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, new tail lights, new rear bumper and much more.

Coming to the interiors, the dashboard of the SUV will be revised with new rectangular center console. The console will be the same MediaNAV touchscreen infotainment console with compatibility for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The SUV will also sport new upholstery with contrast stitching which will complement the new Blue paint scheme.
Mechanically, the SUV will be remain unchanged but the diesel engine is likely to go away. It is believed that we could see the new Duster in a single petrol iteration only. The petrol unit will be a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder H4K naturally aspirated engine. The motor will develop 104 Bhp of peak power and 142 Nm of peak torque. The SUV will be offered with two gearbox options - 5 speed manual and a CVT automatic. The market reports also hint that the car maker could offer RxS trim as an all-wheel drive variant.
