As Mumbai witnessed another massive shower overnight, waterlogging and traffic jams are being reported in various parts of the city. Like any other normal working day, Mumbaikars on Tuesday too stepped out to report for work in the heavy down pour. But, the matters got worst when a part of over bridge collapsed in Andheri station affecting the Western Line immensely. Currently, the rescue operation is currently underway. With heavy rainfall across the financial capital, Uber India has come forward and urged the Mumbaikars to pool together and share their ride. The peer-to-peer ride sharing transportation network turned off its dynamic pricing across the city with an aim to lend a helping hand as the city is witnessing heavy rainfall. The company tweeted out the update on its official twitter page and encouraged the Mumbaikars to pool together. During such conditions, pooling and sharing the rides increases the probability of getting the ride, however, it depends on the frequency of the ride in that particular location.
