New Delhi, September 12: The Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG variant is launched in India today at a starting price of INR 8.19 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Swift CNG comes with significant improvements in terms of fuel efficiency, power and torque. With CNG, the car achieves more mileage compared to the ICE variants. The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG version comes in three variants - VXI CNG, VXI (O) CNG and ZXI CNG.

With this, Maruti Suzuki has added another model that runs on Compressed Natural Gas, an alternate fuel option to petrol or diesel. The new 2024 Swift CNG is launched in India after the Indian automobile company introduced the fourth-gen Swift petrol version in May 2024. 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG Specifications and Features

The Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG version comes with a 1.2-litre Z-series Dual VVT engine that can generate a maximum of 68.79 bhp power and 101.8 Nm maximum torque, significantly improving over the previous models. The company claims that with this powertrain, the Swift CNG will offer a maximum of 32.85 km mileage per kg CNG. 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG Variants and Price in India 

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG comes in three variants - all priced differently. The Swift VXI CNG is priced at INR 8,19,500, the Swift VXI (O) CNG at INR 8.46,500, and the top model Swift ZXI CNG is launched at INR 9,19,500. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Considering the festive season all across the country, the premium hatchback will be first offered in Gujarat and then introduced in other states. Interested customers can book their model at INR 21,628 starting amount.
