New Delhi, May 6: Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 booking started last week with a token amount of Rs 11,000. The new Swift 2024 is among the most awaited cars from Maruti Suzuki this year. The automobile company teased the launch of this car in India a few weeks ago. Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 launch in India is scheduled for May 9, 2024. However, before the launch, a report said that the company had already started shipping the units to the dealerships. 

Maruti Suzuki already started dispatching the fourth-generation Swift units to Arena dealerships, according to a report by Financial Express. The report also mentioned that the videos of the Maruti Swift 2024 standing in a dealership had gone viral on YouTube, confirming the arrival. It was also noted that the Maruti Suzuki Swift's base-specs and mid-specs variants were spotted during testing. Maruti Suzuki New 2024 Engine and Transmission:

Powering the new Swift 2024 model will be a 1.2-litre Z-series petrol mill engine with three cylinders, reportedly called via its codename - "Z12E". The report highlighted that the motor would be available with mild-hybrid setup as "standard fitment" in all variants. The Maruti Suzuki new Swift 2024 would reportedly generate a maximum of 81bhp and 112Nm torque, mated with a five-speed gearbox, available in manual or AMT.

The Swift 2024 is one of the highly anticipated cars that will launch with an octagonal front grill along with honeycomb mesh internal with a black theme. The overall design of the fourth-gen Swift will reportedly remain the same. The report said the car would have gloss black surrounds and feature LED headlights, L-shaped integrated LED DRLs, and LED fog lamps. It is expected to offer customers a clamshell bonnet. However, the report said the car may miss out on the fog lamps and other features.

The New Swift 2024 Features and Interior Design and Features

Likewise, the exterior upgrades and changes, the Swift fourth-generation model will reportedly offer a wide range of modern features in the interior. The mid-spec Maruti Suzuki new 2024 Swift model is said to provide a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic climate control, steering mounted controls and powered OVRMs (Outer rear-view mirrors). The new model will reportedly cover safety aspects, offer six airbags, ABS and EBD, an electronic stability program, and more. The top-spec ZXi trim might introduce a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen unit that will provide a wide range of features, including wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, HUD, cruise control and dash cam support.
