Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV Clocks 2 Lakh Unit Sales in Just 23 Months Since Launch

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara has achieved 2 lakh unit sales in just 23 months since its India launch with strong demand for S-CNG and strong-hybrid variants.

Mumbai, July 29: Maruti Suzuki India announced on Monday that it had sold 2 Lakh units of the Grand Vitara crossed 2 Lakh units in the country. The mid-size SUV achieved this feat in just 23 months since its India launch. It's worth noting that the SUV clocked its first lakh units in a year while the next lakh sales were achieved in just 11 months. The Indo-Japanese confirmed that it observed strong demand for S-CNG and strong-hybrid variants of the Grand Vitara.

Maruti forayed into the C-segment SUV space with the Grand Vitara after several years after reviving the iconic moniker. Maruti Suzuki offers the SUV in three powertrains - a 1.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid, a 1.5-litre petrol unit with strong hybrid, and a CNG option. Feature-wise, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara gets a 9-inch Smart Play infotainment system, head-up display, 360 view camera, wireless charging dock, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, Clarion Premium Sound System, PM 2.5 Air Cabin Filter and more. Nissan X-Trail 7-Seater SUV Official Bookings Now Open; Price Announcement on August 1.
