Mahindra XUV300 Official Bookings Now Open; India Launch Next Month
When launched, the new Mahindra SUV sub-compact SUV will be pitted against Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Ford EcoSport & Tata Nexon.
Mahindra & Mahindra, a leading utility maker is all set to launch the new XUV300 sub-compact SUV in India. Scheduled to be launched next month, the official bookings for the SUV have been commenced by the UV maker at Mahindra dealerships across India. To be offered in 3 variants & 1 optional pack, the new Mahindra XUV300 will be seen in both petrol and diesel avatars. Moreover, the SUV will be built at the Mahindra's plant at Nashik. Mahindra S201 SUV Officially Christened as Mahindra XUV300; To be Launched in India by February 2019.
On the inside, the SUV will flaunt the premium leatherette seats, stylish dual-tone dashboard, an electric sunroof and much more. The SUV will bring segment-first features such as Dual-zone Fully Automatic Climate Control & Front Parking Sensors. Under the hood, the SUV will be offered in petrol as well as diesel engine options. The petrol unit will be a 1.2-litre G80 petrol mill tuned to make 200Nm of torque whereas the diesel unit will be 1.5-litre oil burner capable of offering segment leading torque figures of 300Nm. Transmission duties will be carried out by 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. The company will be introducing an automatic option, however, that will be on the later stage. As far as the prices are concerned, the company is eyeing the price bracket of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom) with the new Mahindra XUV300.
