Mahindra TUV300 Plus SUV is Anand Mahindra’s new car which is called as Grey Ghost by the Mahindra Group Chairman.

Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group has time and again added Mahindra cars to his garage. And, this time too, the Mahindra Chairman has added new Mahindra TUV300 Plus to his fleet. We already know that he owns Mahindra's XUV500 and TUV300. The top boss announced the arrival of this special car by making a tweet on micro-blogging site. Anand Mahindra Tweeted that, "She finally arrived..My TUV 300 Plus. My chaps had kept me waiting...But it was worth the wait; they gave me this special steel-grey metallic paint. Yes, I had to give up my TUV 300 Green Monster, but now I have this beauty and I’ve named her the Grey Ghost."

The company launched the new TUV300 Plus earlier this year which is basically an elongated version of the sub-4m SUV - TUV300. However, it boasts a bigger engine as well as new features. It also comes with revised front bumper and wraparound tail lamps for distinguishing it from the smaller version. The 9-seater SUV also gets 16-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the SUV also gets substantial updates in the cabin featuring faux leather seats, height adjustable driver's seat, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation and much more. As far as the safety is concerned, the SUV is equipped with dual airbags, ABS with EBD and more. Mahindra Electric to Depend on Fleet Operators to Increase Sales.

On the mechanical front, the TUV300 Plus comes powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine which is tuned to make maximum power of 120 Bhp of max power and 280 Nm of peak torque. The unit is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, Mahindra TUV300 gets 1.5-litre diesel engine. As far as the prices are concerned, the new Mahindra TUV300 Plus currently retails from Rs 9.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and goes up to Rs 10.98 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
