Italian supercar maker has launched the Urus SUV in India. It happens to be the first SUV from the company which makes it a special car. It also happens to be one of the few cars that have been launched in the country within its global debut. The car was launched globally on 4th of December 2017 and it just about 38 days the makers have got it in the country. The car is priced it at Rs. 3 crore (ex-showroom India).

What differentiates Urus from different cars is the seating space of five people and the smooth ability to drive it even on broken gravel roads. The car is every bit performance-oriented with a high centre of gravity, the central turbocharger is placed near the combustion chambers for an enhanced engine response. The most interesting feature is the top speed of 305 kmph making it the fastest SUV in the world.

The Urus has a 4.0-litre Twin Turbo V8 engine, a first in the automaker’s history. The engine is tuned to produce 641 bhp and 850 Nm of peak torque, while the performance SUV can hit the 0-100 kmph in 3.6 seconds and 200 kmph in 12.8 seconds. It has an adaptive suspension system which can be adjusted according to the roads.  It can be smooth as a racetrack experience even for irregular roads. It has 6 driving modes and there are various settings one can toggle to change the steering, suspension and traction responses. The car has electronic aid to keep all the power in control.

Lamborghini Urus maintains its extravagance nonetheless but also looks more practical. The wheels of this machine are 21-inch and can be specced up to 23-inches. The car uses special tyres for its race-worthy performance. The front of the car gets sharp laser LED lights. The taillights extend across the tailgate with the Lamborghini moniker in the centre and a diffuser sits at the bottom adding the aggressive sporty punch. The car is a little wider at the back.

Lamborghini has come up with a product that is fun yet practical in the SUV range. With every bit of the car performance-oriented and the company showing such faith in the Indian customers, Lamborghini Urus should be a success.
