New Delhi, September 22: Hyundai Motor India has launched the i20 N Line facelift soon after introducing the refreshed i20 in the market. The new refreshed Hyundai i20 N Line continues to be available in two variants, namely – N6 and N8.

The updated Hyundai i20 N Line comes with some mild cosmetic updates, new transmission, added features and changes to the interior. Hyundai i20 N Line – Price & Rivals

The Hyundai i20 N Line sporty hatch has been launched in India with a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh for the base N6 manual variant going up to Rs 12.31 lakh for the top-of-the-range N8 DCT version (prices ex-showroom).

The Hyundai i20 N Line currently does not have any direct rivals post the discontinuation of the Polo GT TSI. In terms if turbo-petrol engine hatchback models, the Tata Altroz iTurbo is sort of a rival, minus the sportier exhaust and suspension tuning of the i20 N Line.

Hyundai i20 N-Line Facelift – New Gearbox & Powertrain

The sportier version of the Hyundai i20 facelift’s most important update is the addition of the traditional 6-speed manual transmission replacing the 6-speed iMT unit. The 7-speed DCT option is still present, as are the sportier exhaust note coupled with sportier suspension and rear disc brakes marking it different from its regular counterpart.

Hyundai i20 N Line: Design Updates, Interior & Features

Styling includes a carried over uniquely styled front bumper with red accents, parametric front grille design, new front splitter, newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels, red brake callipers and some other minor styling updates on its profile. At the rear there’s restyled bumper with a prominent diffuser, twin-exhaust outlets, red accents and a spoiler.

On the inside, the i20 N-Line gets all-black interiors with mild red-accents, red ambient lighting, metal finish pedals and leather wrapped steering wheel and gear k-nob among others.

The refreshed i20 N-line shares its equipment list with the top-end regular i20, which includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, cruise control, automatic climate control, 7-speaker Bose audio system, a sunroof and much more.

In terms of safety, it gets 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts, tyre Pressure Monitoring System, rear-view parking camera, automatic headlamps, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, seatbelt for front occupants and more.
