Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Interior, Features Revealed Ahead of September 9 Launch

Mumbai, August 27: Hyundai will launch the facelifted Alcazar three-row SUV in the Indian market on September 9. The South Korean automaker is already accepting bookings for the Tata Safari rival for a token amount of INR 25,000. Exterior details and design of the updated Alcazar were revealed recently, but Hyundai remained silent on the interior. Putting a full stop to rumours, the automaker has given us a sneak peek of the new Alcazar’s interior.

As seen in the teaser, the new Hyundai Alcazar borrows a dashboard layout with a 4-spoke steering wheel and dual 10.25-inch screen setup from its younger sibling, the Creta facelift. We get to see a . Moreover, the SUV also sports a familiar AC control with a black-finished surface. As for features, the facelifted Hyundai Alcazar will have 70 connected car functions and safety features, including a boss-mode function (front passenger), first and second row ventilated seats, electrically adjustable front seats with memory functions (driver), ambient lighting, dual USB Type-C ports, 360-degree camera wireless charger, Bose music system, ADAS, panoramic sunroof, and more. Aesthetically, the SUV looks beefier and more intimidating than the outgoing model with design elements like split-style vertically-stacked headlights, H-shaped LED DRL units, blacked-out wheel arches, 18-inch alloys, body-coloured ORVMs, shark fin antenna, roof rails, new tail lights. 2024 Kia Seltos X-Line Variant Gets New Aurora Black Pearl Shade.

Mechanically, the Hyundai Alcazar will continue to be offered with a choice of a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. Both the units will be paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. There will be an optional 7-speed DCT automatic for turbo-petrol and a 6-speed torque converter for diesel engine. When launched, the updated Alcazar will continue to compete with Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700.
