Mumbai, August 25: The South Korean automaker Hyundai recently pulled the wraps off the facelifted Alcazar SUV for the Indian market. The three-row SUV will hit our shores on September 9. The automaker has opened orders for the facelifted avatar of the Alcazar with a token amount of INR 25,000. The SUV gets notable styling upgrades by borrowing design elements from its younger sibling, the Creta facelift. Upon launch, the updated Alcazar will continue to compete with Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700.

The Hyundai Alcazar facelift looks beefier and more intimidating than the outgoing model. It borrows design elements from the Creta with split-style vertically-stacked headlights and a rectangular grille, which houses the brand logo in the centre. Moreover, the H-shaped LED DRL units, blacked-out wheel arches, 18-inch alloys, body-coloured ORVMs, shark fin antenna, and roof rails enhance the overall look of the SUV. The faux skid plate uplifts the muscular design while housing an opening for an air vent. Hyundai Motor and Kia Receive Top Ratings in Major Global Car Crash Safety Tests.
