Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India officially launched the new SP 125 bike in India, which is Honda's first BS6 compliant motorcycle. Launched at a starting price of Rs 72,900 (ex-showroom Delhi), the motorcycle gets 125cc HET BSVI PGM-FI engine, which is powered by eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) technology. The company has redefined the overall styling of the motorcycle by adding aggressive fuel tank with edgy graphics, modern headlamp & bold rear. The new Honda SP 125 motorcycle is available in two variants - Drum & Disc. Additionally, the company is also offering 6-year warranty package. Moreover, the company is also providing the motorcycle in 4 shades - Striking Green, Mat Axis Grey Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue.

As far as the features are concerned, the BS6 Honda SP 125 motorcycle gets segment first futuristic LED DC headlamp, engine start/stop switch, integrated headlamp beam & passing switch and 5-speed transmission. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual gearbox for smooth rides.

Powering the motorcycle is a 124.73cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine that has been upgraded to BS6 avatar seeing an increase in power from 10.31hp to 10.88hp. The unit comes with Honda's Eco Technology boosted by Enhanced Smart Power (eSP). Additionally, the new Honda SP 125 BS6 motorcycle is claimed to be 16 percent more fuel efficient than the BS4 model.

The company has officially commenced the production of the new SP 125cc motorcycle. The deliveries for the motorcycle will begin as soon the bike starts reaching the dealerships which will be towards the end of this month.
