Hero Destini 125 Scooter Launched in India; Prices Start From Rs 54,650

Launched at Rs 54,650, the new Hero Destini 125 automatic scooter will compete against TVS NTorq, Suzuki Burgman and others in the 125cc segment.

Hero MotoCorp has finally launched a new scooter called Destini 125 at an event in New Delhi, which is priced at Rs 54,650. As a reminder, the scooter was showcased at Auto Expo 2018 in February as Duet 125.  Moreover, the newly launched Destini 125 is the first scooter from Hero MotoCorp in the 125cc automatic scooter segment. Dubbed as reliable and robust, the new Destini 125 comes with sheet metal body that is designed to provide convenience, robustness and technology. Hero MotoCorp's new 125cc scooter is completely developed in-house at the company's Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) in Jaipur. The company also streamed the launch event of Destini 125 on its official Facebook page. Feature-wise, the new 125cc scooter is packed with an optional disc brake upfront, integrated Braking system (IBS), service reminder, pass switch, external fuel lit and much more. Additionally, the scooter also gets boot light, side stand indicator, mobile charging facility and more.

The new Destini 125 scooter is offered in 2 variants - LX and VX. It is also made available in 4 exciting shades – Nobel Red, Chestnut Bronze, Pearl Silver White and Panther Black. It also gets self-start as well as kick start options. Suspension duties are carried out by telescopic forks upfront and single coil spring hydraulic type at the rear.

Talking about the powertrain options, the new Destini 125 scooter gets a 125cc, air-cooled engine that is capable of making maximum power of 8.7 bhp against peak torque of 10.2 Nm. The braking duties on the new Destini scooter are carried out by drum brakes as standard at both the ends. As far as the pricing are concerned, the new scooter from Hero MotoCorp gets a starting price of Rs 54,650. The top-end variant will attract buyers will an attractive price tag of Rs. 57,500. The deliveries of the Destini 125 scooter is expected to start in next 3 to 4 weeks. The Hero Destini will take on the rivals such as TVS NTorq 125, Honda Grazia, and the Suzuki Burgman Street 125.
