Harley Davidson To Launch Softail Motorcycles in India on 28 February

Harley Davidson will launch Sports Glide, Softail Slim and the Softail Lowrider in India.

Good news for lovers of custom bikes. The iconic motorcycle brand Harley Davidson will be launching the custom Softail motorcylces in India on Wednesday, February 28. Harley Davidson is launching three motorcycles in India. The company has not given further details about the products.

However, according to reports, the American company will launch Sports Glide, Softail Slim and the Softail Lowrider in India. From the Harley Davidson Softail range India has already seen the launch of the Fat Boy, Heritage Softail, Fat Bob and Street Bob. All of these models were launched in the year 2017.

The new Softail range which Harley Davidson describes as the “steel foundation its next generation of custom motorcycles” comes with the custom look of Softail combined with the hard-riding performance of the American company’s custom machines.

According to reports, the bikes introduced will have upgraded chassis and suspension features. What is new is also the Milwaukee- Eight engine that the bikes will come loaded with. The Indian spec bikes will come equipped with 107 Milwaukee- Eight v-twin engine. The twin engine will have a displacement of 1,745cc and is expected to generate 144 Nm of torque.

The Motorcycle company which says it's motto is to "fulfill dreams of personal freedom", has also tweeted about two new bikes with pictures and posed a difficult question for the fans:

According to the Motorcycle giant company, they have incorporated changes in the models to make it better suited for Indian roads. Over the years, Harley Davidson has built a loyal biker fan base in India and has come to be recognised as the choice of bikers with a penchant for rugged and rough yet smooth look and strong performance. The company has a manufacturing facility at Bawal, Haryana and also builds the Street 500 and 750 basic models which is exported to markets abroad. Fans would be eager to have a close look at the three models which will be introduced by Harley Davidson.
