Honda, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, has officially revealed its entire 2020 European motorcycle line-up at 2019 EICMA in Milan. Honda’s line-up for the year 2020 includes motorcycles from worlds of racing, adventure, roadsters and commuters. The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP motorcycles offer unprecedented levels of track-focussed performance. On the other hand, the CMX500 Rebel compact cruiser from Honda now gets significant upgrades such as full LED lighting, slipper clutch, gear position indicator and new factory-fit accessories pack. Apart from the bikes mentioned above, the company also unveiled CRF1100L Africa Twin, CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports, CMX500 Rebel and SH125i scooter at the Milan Motor Show. The 2020 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is powered by the most powerful inline four-cylinder engine ever made Honda. The 2020 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is inspired by RC213V MotoGP machine and RC213V-S counterpart that offers perfect handling, balance and sheer riding enjoyment. The powerful inline four-cylinder engine of the 2020 CBR1000RR-R Fireblade is tuned to make 160kW of maximum power at 14,500rpm along with peak torque of 113Nm at 12,500rpm. The company will also be offering the CBR1000RR-R in an SP variant. Other highlights of the motorcycle are second-generation semi-active Öhlins Electronic Control, 43mm NPX forks and Ohlins TTX36 Smart-EC rear shock, new Brembo Stylema four-piston radial-mounted front calipers and the same rear Brembo monoblock caliper and more. Both CRB1000RR-R Fireblade and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP are equipped with a lightweight titanium Akrapovic exhaust. The motorcycles will be offered in two colour options - an HRC-inspired Grand Prix Red and a Matte Pearl Black.
Honda's SH125i scooter is listed for the European line-up for the year 2020. The scooter comes equipped with a more robust and fuel-efficient engine mated with a restyled body and redesigned frame. The all-new 2020 Honda SH125i offers over 50 percent more storage space because of its reworked frame. The new 2020 SH125i scooter is powered by a new four-valve ‘eSP+’ EURO5 compliant engine offering more top-end power and stronger acceleration. The scooter also comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and Idling Stop as standard. Other underlines of the scooter are 28L of storage space, USB charger, Honda Smart Key, optimised rear suspension for more comfort and much more.
The recently revealed CRF1100L Africa Twin and CRF1100L Africa Twin Adventure Sports are also part of Honda's European motor show debut at the 2019 EICMA. The new CRF1100L Africa Twin is powered by a lighter yet powerful 1100cc parallel-twin engine that offers increased power and torque as well as matching up with Euro5 norms. Both the versions of the Africa Twin employ lighter yet narrow frame, ensuring improved agility and comfort. The new Honda Africa Twin comes loaded with a new 6.5in TFT colour touchscreen, Selectable Torque Control, Wheelie and Rear Lift Control, Cornering ABS, Dual Clutch Transmission system and more.
The company has also revealed the new Honda CMX500 Rebel compact cruiser which packs a 500cc parallel twin-cylinder engine. The motorcycle is loaded with revised suspension, redesigned round headlight, new gear position indicator, slipper clutch, more comfortable seat and new exhaust and more. Additionally, the new CMX500 Rebel S Edition comes in Matte Axis Grey Metallic shade with factory-fitted accessories such as headlight cowl, all-black fork covers and gaiters, plus a diamond-stitch style seat and more.
