New Delhi, May 5: The Government of India who has always been crucial about the rising pollution is trying all possible measures to adoption Electric Vehicles. For this agenda, AC and DC fast chargers for Electronic Vehicles have been installed at the Parliament of India to charge the electric vehicles supplied to the government as a part of the Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) tender. Electric Vehicle Charging Points in Delhi: Government To Install 84 EV Stations By March 2019.

Snehlata Shrivastava, Secretary General of Lok Sabha, inaugurated the charging stations along with flagging off the 10 Electric Vehicles- Tata Tigor electric and Mahindra eVerito. During the inauguration, other senior officials of EESL were also present. According to the FAME II scheme, EESL has plans of establishing a wide network of fast chargers in India, starting with metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai. In addition to installations at government premises, the EESL has also planned to set up charging stations at public parking places, fuel stations and shopping malls among others for EV owners.
