Ducati Scrambler 1100 Motorcycle Slated to Be Launched in India on August 27
Ducati India will be launching the new Scrambler 1100 motorcycle in India on August 27, which is expected to be priced from 11 lakh (ex-showroom).
Ducati India will be bringing the most potent Scrambler motorcycle in the Indian market on August 27. Dubbed as Scrambler 1100, the Italian motorcycle making company confirmed the launch date for the biggest Scrambler through its social media platforms. However, the company might launch Standard and Sport variants in the domestic market. Likely to be priced between Rs. 11 lakh to Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom), the new Ducati Scrambler will be pitted against the rivals like BMW R Nine T Scrambler and Moto Guzzi Griso 1200 8V SE. As far as the powerhouse is concerned, the forthcoming Ducati Scrambler 1100 motorcycle will be fitted with a 1079cc L-Twin unit. The engine is tuned to make a maximum power of 86bhp with 88.4Nm of peak torque. The unit is clubbed with a 6-speed gearbox and features a slipper clutch. Concerning features, the Scrambler 1100 will come equipped with electronic equipment like a 5-level traction control system, 3riding modes- Active, Touring and City. The motorcycle will be provided with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) as well as cornering ABS.
