Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi reportedly praised Elon Musk and said that going against him would not be an 'easy matter'. Further, he said that he would love to get Robotaxis for his Uber platform once "it is ready to roll out", according to a report by Business Insider. The report said that going forward, Dara Khosrowshahi-run ride-hailing company would only have three options - competing with Tesla, working with it or combining these two options. This comes as Uber left the idea of developing its self-driving cars back in 2020, but currently, the it partnered with Waymo and Cruise for selected cities in the US along with Wayve, a British autonomous driving tech firm. Although Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi showed willingness to partner with Elon Musk's Tesla, the production of the robotaxis is yet to start. Musk said his EV firm would begin production before 2027.
