CES 2019: Harley-Davidson LiveWire Electric Motorcycle With Samsung Battery Unveiled; Priced in US at $29,799
Harley-Davidson has showcased its first e-motorcycle called LiveWire with Samsung battery at CES 2019, which is priced in US at $29,799.
Las Vegas, Jan 8: American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson's first electric motorcycle "LiveWire" equipped with Samsung SDI Co.'s battery pack, would be unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) here, the South Korean battery maker said on Tuesday. The electric motorcycle runs on a battery pack, comprising lithium-ion cells made by Samsung SDI. Harley Davidson Unveils Two Models, Low Rider and Deluxe in Softail Portfolio.
LiveWire's range is approximately 180 km, and it can do zero to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds, Samsung SDI claimed.
The American motorcycle manufacturer will show off the LiveWire during CES that runs through Friday and accept preorders during the event for shipping in the fall, it noted.
