Nissan X-Trail
The Fourth-Generation Nissan X-Trail will be launched in India on August 1, 2024. The 7-seater vehicle will come with a 1.5-litre petrol VCT engine, delivering 201hp and up to 305Nm of peak torque. The car features a 40-litre fuel tank capacity. The booking for the Nissan X-Trail opened a week ago with a token amount of INR 1 lakh. It is expected to be priced between INR 30 lakh and INR 40 lakh (ex-showroom).
Citroen Basalt
On August 2, Citroen will launch the Basalt Coupe SUV, a rival to the Tata Curvv. Based on the Citroen C3 Aircross SUV, the Citroen Basalt will feature LED DRLs and projector headlamps. It is expected to be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 115bhp and 215Nm of torque. The vehicle also anticipated to feature a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system, supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Citroen Basalt is expected to be priced around INR 11 lakh to 12 lakh.
Tata Curvv
Tata is set to launch the Curvv SUV on August 7. The Tata Curvv will be powered by the TGDi Hyperion engine, producing 120 to 125hp of power and up to 225Nm of torque. Thar Roxx might also provide an option for a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which could deliver 174bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm. It will boast new alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof and circular LED projector headlamps with C-shaped DRLs for a futuristic look. The vehicle is expected to be priced between INR 16 lakh and INR 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
