BMW Motorrad, a popular Bavarian two-wheeler company is expected to launch two much awaited motorcycles in the Indina market soon. Ahead of the official launch, the company has officially announced the commencement of bookings for the much awaited motorcycles - BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS from June 8 onwards. The interested buyers can pre-book the motorcycles with a token amount of Rs. 50,000 at all authorized BMW Motorrad dealership throughout the country. The deliveries will come soon after the launch and will be done on a first come first serve basis as per bookings.

Moreover, interested buyers can also pre-book the motorcycles via visiting the official website and filling out the enquiry form. As a reminder, BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS were showcased at the Auto Expo earlier this year. BMW G 310 R has been awaited from a very long time in the Indian market and finally, the company will be launching the motorcycle soon.

Representing company's pure essence of a roadster, BMW G 310 R is designed to proffer performance as well as comfort. It will come powered by a 313cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine tuned to make maximum power of 34PS @ 9,500rpm and 28Nm of peak torque @ 7,500rpm. The motor will be mated to a 6-speed transmission. On the other hand, BMW G 310 GS motorcycle will foray BMW Motorrad's official entry into affordable adventure motorcycle space in the domestic market. It will also carry the same engine as seen on BMW G 310 R.

As far as the prices are concerned, both the motorcycles are expected to fall in the price bracket of Rs 3 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the BMW G 310 R motorcycle will compete against KTM Duke 390 and Mahindra Mojo.
