Mumbai, August 25: Two-wheeler arm of BMW Group BMW Motorrad is gearing up to launch its new middleweight adventure motorcycles in the Indian market. Interestingly, it’s been a couple of months since the German motorcycle maker introduced the BMW G 1300 GS in the country. Now, the brand is ready to launch the BMW F 900 GS and the F 900 GS Adventure that will replace the on-sale F 850 GS and the F 850 GS Adventure. BMW has already commenced bookings for the ADVs, suggesting it could launch in India very soon.

Aesthetically, the updates on the new range are very evident compared to its predecessor. The F 900 GS now gets a new headlight, giving a subtle resemblance to its younger sibling, the G 310 GS. It has a smaller 14.5-litre fuel tank, bigger bodywork, road-focussed tyres and weighs 246 kg. The F 900 GSA, on the other hand, comes with a bigger 23-litre fuel tank, a slimmer profile, and is lighter by 27 kgs. BSA Gold Star 650 Motorcycle Launched in India.

The F 900 GS has been built as a purely off-road focussed motorcycle with a fully adjustable USD fork and monoshock. In contrast, the F 900 GS Adventure has an electronically adjustable suspension designed for comfortable riding on long-distance touring. For braking, the bikes get 305 mm discs up front and a single 265 mm disc at the rear. Coming to feature, both ADVs get ABS, cornering ABS, traction control, various riding modes and a 6.5-inch TFT screen. 2024 Hero Glamour 125 With New Colour Scheme Launched in India.
