New Delhi, June 24: The Bajaj CNG bike launch was confirmed on June 18; however, it was postponed on July 17, 2024. According to reports, the upcoming Bajaj CNG motorcycle would likely be called "Bajaj Fighter". Ahead of the launch of the world's first CNG bike, it was spotted testing on the Indian roads. According to a report, the design of the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike would be conventional.
Some previous reports said that Bajaj Auto confirmed the launch of its CNG bike with a newly designed engine that would run on both petrol and CNG. Bajaj CNG bike is aimed at commuters who travel long distances and are looking for alternative solutions to traditional fuel. The report highlighted that the new spy shots revealed that the bike would feature a petrol tank with a CNG cylinder placed underneath. It also said that the testing model spotted had a "near-production" appearance. The spy shots revealed that the bike would continue its conventional design with a round front headlight and retro elements. Despite being covered in camouflage, the upcoming CNG bike showed many details.
The Bajaj Auto's CNG bike is expected to come with a 125cc engine; however, it is just speculation at this point. The report highlighted that no updates about fuel efficiency were known. However, it is safe to assume that the upcoming Bajaj CNG bike would focus more on saving fuel and cost than traditional petrol-based motorcycles.
