Top Showstoppers From Auto Majors at the Auto Expo 2023:

1. Tata Motors

Tata Motors is undoubtedly one of the most active participants at the Auto Expo 2023. Having unveiled and showcased several stunning concept models, this homegrown auto giant certainly has multiple showstoppers.

Tata Curvv Concept

The Tata Curvv SUV concept was showcased closer to its production version and in its ICE avatar showing off its sharp, bold and superb SUV styling. The Curvv will also be available in all-electric version.

Tata Avinya Concept

The Tata Avinya is a born-EV in a highly intruging and futuristic luxury MPV body. It is a perfect amalgamation of style, luxury, futuristic EV tech and sustainability with a cabin featuring recycled materials.

Tata Sierra Concept

The Tata Sierra EV concept alongside the Harrier EV concept really made a high impact in its maker’s pavilion, despite its clean and minimalistic styling. Looking very sophisticated and posh, this near-ready production model oozes oomph with trying.

2. Maruti Suzuki

The Indo-Japanese auto leader in the Indian car market, made the most of the Auto Expo platform by unveiled its very important concept and two new cars alongside showcasing its other products in unique paint jobs.

Maruti Suzuki eVX

Maruti Suzuki unveiled its first ever all-electric SUV concept called the eVX. This modern and smart looking electric SUV concept features a 60kWh battery and a claimed range of up to 550km, and is expected to launch in 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door SUV

The much awaited 5-door version of the iconic Jimny SUV was finally unveiled at the ongoing Auto Expo. With its signature boxy design with modern appeal, this retro-cool hard-core SUV’s pre-bookings are already underway.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The highly speculated Baleno-based new subcompact crossover has been finally unveiled at the mega event. Named as Maruti Suzuki Fronx, this stylish urban SUV’s pre-launch bookings are also open. Both the Jimny and the Fronx are the new premium products from Maruti and will be sold exclusively though the Nexa outlets.

3. Hyundai

The South Korean auto major has launched its long awaited premium e-SUV, while showcasing its larger and newer version aside from displaying its other current products.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

Hyundai officially launched the Ioniq 5 electric SUV at the Auto Expo 2023, priced at Rs 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom). The Ioniq 5’s launch was highlighted by the presence of Hyundai’s brand ambassador Shah Rukh Khan, who obviously was the human showstopper at the Hyundai pavilion.

Hyundai Ioniq 6

The Hyundai Ioniq 6 was essentially the actual showstopper being the latest EV from the company’s global lineup. 4. MG

Morrison Garages (MG) or MG Motor India really wowed the spectators of the Auto Expo 2023 by showcasing a long lineup of absolutely new production-ready version cars, among which most were EVs or greener vehicles with future tech. The Chinese-owned British auto marque is considering launching a number of these showcased cars.

MG eHS

The MG eHS midsize plug-in hybrid SUV is a stylish car that is beimg considered for the Indian market. It gets a 1.5 turbo-petrol engine that offers 162PS and 250Nm, while its 16.6kWh battery can offer an electric-only range of 52km.

MG Euniq 7 FCV

MG’s hydrogen powered fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) Euniq 7 was unveiled and it was certainly one of the most important showcases of the brand at the Auto Expo 2023. This fuel cell MPV is based on the company’s third-generation fuel cell technology and can offer a range of 605km.

5. Toyota

While Toyota showcased a large number of cars and off-roaders from its international lineup and also displayed its recently launched HyCross SUV styled MUV, its showstopper was undeniably a single model. The Japanese auto giant is also preparing to launch new cars in India this year.

Toyota Land Cruiser

The gigantic and iconic Land Cruiser is certainly the one and only showstopper at the Toyota pavilion, despite the showcase of the brand’s other gorgeous cars. The Land Cruiser finally came to back to India at the mega event to offer solace to its aficionados. The Land Cruiser 300 is all the more special, as it might be the last model of its kind as its platform might be sold only under the company’s luxury brand Lexus’s umbrella in future.
