Mumbai, August 15:  German luxury carmaker Audi on Wednesday officially announced the commencement of bookings for the updated Q8 SUV in India. Customers interested in purchasing the SUV can pre-book it via official website and myAudi connect phone app for a token amount of INR 5 lakh. The flagship SUV will be launched in India on August 22, 2024. The carmaker recently dropped the first teaser of the Q8 facelift, suggesting its arrival in India was imminent. It is worth noting that the SUV made its global debut in September last year.

The will sport a few design updates along with new tech integrations on the inside. The SUV will pack a single-frame grille with an octagonal mesh design featuring Matrix LED headlights as standard fitment. Audi has reworked the front and rear bumpers, giving it a more mature look, and it will ride on 21 to 23-inch wheels bearing a new design. The cabin could get an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a large central touchscreen display with connected tech and driver assistance systems. Audi Q8 Facelift Teased Ahead of Launch Slated on August 22.

Audi has confirmed that it will come in eight exterior colours and four interior shades. The exterior shades include Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Gray, Glacier White, Satellite Silver, Tamarind Brown, and Vicuna Beige. The cabin will have four colour choices - Okapi Brown, Saiga Beige, Black, and Pando Gray. Mahindra Thar ROXX Launched in India.

The 2024 Audi Q8 facelift will draw power from a 3.0-litre TFSI engine with a 48V mild hybrid system. The unit is tuned to produce 340 hp of maximum power with 500 Nm of peak torque. It is claimed to hit a three-figure mark from a stand-still position in just 5.6 seconds before hitting the top speed of 250 kmph. The SUV is likely to be priced somewhere in between INR 1 crore to INR 1.5 crore (ex-showroom).
