Mumbai, August 30: Triumph Motorcycles has launched the all-new Daytona 660 in India for the asking price of INR 9.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The British two-wheeler brand motorcycle is accepting bookings for Daytona 660 at all dealerships across India. It succeeds the previous generation Daytona 675 and is the only sports bike in the brand's product portfolio for the Indian market.

The all-new Triumph Daytona 660 is based on the Trident 660’s engine platform making it the second model to employ the same after Tiger Sport 660. It takes on the Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the Aprilia RS 660 in its segment. 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Launched in India.

The 2024 Triumph Daytona 660 sports a striking design complemented by a distinctive dual LED headlamp unit with an air intake in the centre. Built around a steel tubular perimeter frame, the Triumph Daytona is suspended by Showa 41 mm Big Piston upside-down forks up front with 110 mm travel and a Showa monoshock at the rear with preload adjustment and 130 mm of travel. For braking, it gets 310 mm twin discs with radial calipers and a 220 mm single disc with a sliding caliper for the rear. BMW F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure Bookings Open.

The new Triumph Daytona 660 uses a 660 cc, liquid-cooled inline triple engine, which also powers the Trident 660. The brand has a slightly upgraded motor bumping more power and torque, now producing 95 bhp at 11,250 rpm and 69 Nm at 8,250 rpm. The unit comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. As for features, the Triumph Daytona 660 gets a multi-function colour TFT screen, three ride modes, dual-channel ABS, switchable traction control, a 14-litre fuel tank and more.
