Mahindra & Mahindra, a homegrown automaker, on Wednesday, increased its product portfolio by launching another SUV in the Indian market which is called as TUV300 Plus. Priced at Rs. 9.47 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), the newly launched TUV300 Plus is offered in 9-seater configuration which fills up the gap of a contemporary yet powerful SUV under the sub-10 lakh bracket. The SUV is offered in 3 variants - P4, P6 and P8. The company is also offering attractive customised finance options with EMI as low as Rs. 11,999. At the exterior front, the SUV comes with aggressive front grille with chrome inserts that gives a premium appeal. The real SUV character is underlined by upright bonnet design square wheel arches, chrome finished fog lamps, large 16-inch alloy wheels, electronically adjustable ORVMs, body colored tailgate with mounted spare wheel, and much more. Dimension-wise, the 9-seater SUV measures 4400mm in length, 1835mm in width and 1812mm in height. The overall appeal of the SUV is enhanced by 5 exciting shades - Majestic Silver, Glacier white, Bold Black, Dynamo Red and Molten Orange. The interior of the SUV is designed by Pininfarina - a legendary Italian design house which comes with faux leather seats, multi-functional steering wheel, rear defogger, front row arm rest, driver seat adjustable and much more. On the feature front, the newly launched TUV300 Plus comes equipped with a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment System with GPS navigation, Bluesense App, ECO mode, Micro Hybrid Technology, Brake Energy Regeneration Technology, Intellipark Reverse Assist, AC ECO mode, 4 speakers with 2 tweeters, Driver Information System and more. In terms of safety, the SUV is equipped with dual airbags, ABS and EBD.
Under the hood, the SUV comes powered by tried-and-tested mHAWKD120 engine designed to proffer superior drivability in traffic conditions as well as highways. The motor is tuned to produce 120Bhp of maximum power with peak torque of 280Nm. Transmission duties on the SUV are carried out by 6-speed manual gearbox that transmits power to all-four wheels.
