Mumbai, September 16: TVS Motor Company (TVS) on Monday officially announced the launch of the updated Apache RR 310 motorcycle in the Indian market. With prices starting at INR 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 gets several updates, visual or performance. The Chennai-headquartered two-wheeler maker is now accepting bookings for the new Apache RR 310 bike across all TVS dealerships in the country. It continues to compete against arch-rivals like the KTM RC 390 and the Aprilia RS457.

TVS’ updated Apache RR 310 bike sees several design enhancements and improved performance, albeit the design remains consistent with the outgoing model. The bike now gets MotoGP-styled winglets that generate around 3kg of downforce for better performance. The Racing Red variant deprived of the quickshifter costs INR 2.75 lakh, while the price jumps to INR 2.92 lakh for installed quickshifter. On the other hand, the Bomber Grey variant carries a price tag of INR 2.97 lakh (ex-showroom). Triumph Speed 400 New Variant To Launch in India Tomorrow.

For suspension, the updated Apache RR 310 uses a USD setup upfront and a monoshock at the rear, which is a fully adjustable suspension available through the optional Build To Order (BTO) kit. Braking duties are handled by a dual-channel ABS at both ends. The motorcycle is equipped with a suite of electronic features like a TFT display, all-LED lighting, multiple ride modes, and Bluetooth connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation.

Powering the 2024 TVS Apache RR 310 is the same 312.2cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter. The brand has made a few tweaks at the heart, resulting in more power and torque, now producing 38bhp at 9,800 rpm and 29Nm at 7,900 rpm. Improved performance can be attributed to a 13 per cent larger airbox, a wider throttle body, and improved volumetric efficiency. Moreover, TVS now uses a forged piston, which is 10 per cent lighter and ensures faster revs. 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 2V Launched in India.
