Mumbai, August 2: The legendary two-wheeler manufacturer Royal Enfield has officially confirmed that it will launch the updated version of the iconic Classic 350 motorcycle in India this month. Scheduled to go official on August 12, it will be the brand’s second motorcycle making its way into the Indian market after the Guerrilla 450 that was introduced recently in the country. It is one the best-selling 350cc bikes in the Eicher-owned brand’s product portfolio for the Indian market, sharing its engine with other 350cc siblings like Bullet 350, Hunter 350 and Meteor 350.

Royal Enfield could introduce new colour options on the 2024 Classic 350. Apart from the cosmetic updates, the motorcycle could get new parts and equipment like a new LED headlamp with pilot lamps, a new tail light, updated switchgear and more. 2024 Yezdi Adventure Launched in India.

The mechanical front is expected to remain untouched. Powering the updated RE Classic 350 will be the same 349cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The unit produces 20.2 bhp of max power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The motorcycle will likely come in multiple variants, and expect details of each variant to be revealed at the launch. Once launched, the 2024 Royal Enfield will lock horns with the Honda CB350, Harley-Davidson X440, Jawa 42, and the Yezdi Roadster. 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Launched in India.

The Classic 350 competes with the Honda CB350, Jawa 42, Yezdi Roadster, and the Harley-Davidson X440 in the Indian market. The current model is priced between INR 1.93 lakh and INR 2.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model could see a bump in price, considering it will come with added new features.
