Mumbai, August 30: Italian motorcycle maker Ducati has officially announced the launch of the Multistrada V4 RS in India. The 2024 Ducati Multistrada V4 RS has a price tag of INR 38.40 lakh (ex-showroom) which makes it almost INR 7 lakh costlier than the Pikes Peak model. It sits at the top of the Multistrada lineup in Ducati’s model range, unveiled globally last year. It is essentially a high-performance iteration of the adventure tourer wherein the RS suffix is inspired by the performance line of Audi cars.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS comes in a single Iceberg White livery. It takes on the BMW M 1000 XR in India's adventure touring segment. The bike will be available at Ducati dealerships starting next month. BMW F 900 GS, F 900 GS Adventure Bookings Open; India Launch Very Soon.

The adventure tourer draws power from a 1103 cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, which is sourced from the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 models. It produces 178 bhp and 118 Nm of torque. It is the first time Ducati has employed a Desmosedici Stradale engine on a Multistrada model, though in a slightly detuned state. It's worth noting that each V4 RS will bear a black anodised aluminium plate carrying the Italian flag and the unique series number.
The V4 RS is 2.5 kg lighter than the standard Multistrada version. Ducati achieved this by incorporating lightweight components like 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminium wheels, a titanium subframe, and a redesigned tail section. The V4 RS is 3 kg lighter than the Pikes Peak variant. 2024 Hero Glamour 125 With New Colour Scheme Launched in India.

The bike gets 48 mm Ohlins forks upfront and an Ohlins TTX36 monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers with twin 330 mm semi-floating discs at the front and a Brembo two-piston floating caliper with a 265 mm disc at the rear.
