Hyundai India has finally launched the all-new Aura sedan in India with a introductory price of Rs 5.8 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-end variant costs Rs 9.23 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 1.2L Diesel SX AMT variant.

As far as the mileage is concerned, both petrol engines are capable of returning fuel economy of 20.5 kmpl. The 1.2-litre diesel unit provides mileage of 25.4 kmpl.

The interior appeal of the new Hyundai Aura is enhanced by premium and elegant design featuring premium satin, honeycomb mesh dashboard design, bronze inserts and more.

With the new Aura sedan, Hyundai India will be targeting emerging middle class and young audience as first adopters of modern lifestyle in family.

The petrol engines on Hyundai Aura sedan are 1.2-litre MPI and 1.0-litre Turbo GDi units. The former makes 83PS/114Nm of power figures whereas the latter develops figures of 100PS/172Nm respectively.

The new Aura 2020 sedan will be offered in three BS6 compliant engines - two petrol units and a single diesel option.

The overall appeal of the Hyundai Aura sedan is underlined by projector headlamp with fog lights, twin-boomerang DRLs, stylish Z-shaped LED taillights, 15-inch diamond cut alloys and much more.

Once launched, the Hyundai Aura 2020 sedan will compete against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo, Tata Tigor and others in the segment.

Mechanically, the new Aura 2020 sedan will be offered in three BS6 compliant engines - two petrol units and a single diesel option. The two petrol engines are a 1.2-litre MPI unit and a 1.0-litre Turbo GDi engine whereas the diesel engine is a 1.2-litre Ecotorq unit.

Hyundai Aura 2020 sub-compact sedan will be seen in six exciting colour options - Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Alpha Blue and Vintage Brown.

Dimensionally, the new Hyundai Aura measures 3,995mm in length, 1,680mm in width and 1,520mm in height. However, the wheelbase stands at 2,450mm. Moreover, the Hyundai Aura gets bootspace of 402-litres.
