2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno Featuring Smart Hybrid Technology With BS6 Compliant Engine Launched; Priced in India at Rs 5.58 Lakh

With new emission norms coming into effect by April 2019, India's leading car manufacturer has officially announced the launch of its first BS6 compliant premium hatchback in India. Launched at Rs 5.58 lakh (ex-showroom), the new 2019 Maruti Baleno now comes with Smart Hybrid technology that is powered by 1.2-litre DualJet Dual VVT unit. The Maruti Baleno has been one of the hot selling cars for the Indo-Japanese car maker as far as the volumes are concerned. The company recorded sales growth of 11 percent in the year 2018-19. The company introduced the refreshed version of the premium hatchback earlier this year that featured cosmetic as well as feature upgrades. Moreover, the new BS6 complaint Baleno will further help the company to retain its leadership in the near future. The automaker also claimed that the new engine has helped the model achieve higher fuel economy with improved combustion efficiency. The new motor on the Baleno has also helped in reducing friction.
