Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd (HMSI) on Friday officially marked its entry into the rapidly growing middle-weight motorcycle segment by launching CB300R. Priced at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom India), the new motorcycle carriesa Neo Sports Cafe DNA design, which is inspired from Honda's Neo Sport Café Concept. The customers can purchase the 2019 Honda CB300R exclusively Wing World dealerships across India for Rs. 5,000. The deliveries are scheduled to commence from 3rd week of March 2019 onwards. The all-new CB300R comes in two attractive shades - Matte Axis Gray Metallic & Candy Chromosphere Red. It comes powered by a 286cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The unit is tuned to make 32PS of max power @ 8500 rpm against peak torque of 27.5Nm @ 7500 rpm. The bike also comes with a gear shift warning lights and Peak Hold function.
Dimensionally, the new Honda CB300R measures 2028mm in length, 888mm in width and 1053mm in height. The ground clearance and wheelbase stands at 151mm and 1344mm respectively. The motorcycle uses diamond type frame with USD front suspension with monoshock setup at the rear. The braking on the motorcycle are carried out by dual disc brakes with dual channel ABS with IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit).

Some of the main underlines of the motorcycle are circular headlamp, LCD instrument cluster, tubular steel frame, LED taillight, LED DRLs and much more. The motorcycle will be pitted against BMW G310R, KTM 390 Duke, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 (price) and other motorcycles in the segment.
