Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is all set to launch the much anticipated 2019 CB300R motorcycle in India today. The company will be revealing the prices for its first ever 300cc motorcycle in India at an event in New Delhi. The motorcycle looks similar to Baby CB1000R as it borrows design cues from Honda Neo Sport Café Concept. To be introduced in the Indian market via CKD route, the company has confirmed that the bike will be priced below Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The company will be live streaming the launch event of the 2019 Honda CB300R from the venue, which can be watched here.
For suspension, the motorcycle will be equipped with 37mm USD forks at the front along with 7-step pre-load adjustable monoshock setup at the rear. The braking duties on the bike will be catered by dual disc brakes with ABS. The main underline of the motorcycle is 'Neo sports cafe line' design that gives modern yet retro appeal to the bike. Additional highlights of the motorcycle are circular headlamp, LCD instrument cluster, tubular steel frame, LED taillight, LED DRLs and much more.
Likely to be priced under Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom), the new 2019 Honda CB300R will take on BMW G310R, KTM 390 Duke, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 (price) and other motorcycles in the segment.
