Suzuki Motorcycle India has finally launched the much awaited adventurer tourer motorcycle, which is called as V-Strom 650XT ABS in the domestic market. Priced at Rs 7.46 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the new motorcycle comes in as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) Unit, which is assembled in India. Touted as an ultimate motorcycle renowned for its versatility that makes it suitable for daily commuting, long highways as well as unexplored terrains. The new Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS is the third product from the two-wheeler manufacturer for this financial year after GSX S750 and Hayabusa. The adventurer tourer motorcycle comes powered by a 645cc, 4-stroke, liquid cooled DOHC, V-twin engine with fuel-injection technology. The technology churns out an improved performance of the engine that develops 71hp of maximum power with 62Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. On the feature front, the middleweight adventure motorcycle comes with a 3-stage traction control system, Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) and 3-way, height-adjustable windscreen, Suzuki’s useful Easy Start System and much more.

The motorcycle is available in two exciting shades - Champion Yellow Color No. 2 and Pearl Glacier White and is priced at INR 7,46,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new multi-functional instrument panel on the motorcycle features speedometer, odometer, fuel level, coolant temperature, gear position, battery voltage, traction-control modes ensuring accurate information to the rider. Underlining Suzuki’s adventure DNA, the styling of the V-Strom 650XT ABS is inspired from its larger sibling - V-Strom 1000. The motorcycle is equipped with wire-spoke rims that are shod into Bridgestone Battlax Adventure tubeless tyres. The suspension duties are carried out by conventional telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock with rebound adjustment and remote preload adjuster at the back.
