2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift India Launch Likely by This Month; Expected Price, Features, Bookings, Specifications & More Details
The upcoming Hyundai Creta Facelift 2018 will take on the competitors such as Renault Captur, Mahindra XUV500 and Jeep Compass.
Hyundai Creta SUV has been one of the best-selling products from the South Korean automaker which is due for a facelift. It is believed that the company is preparing itself to launch the new 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift in India soon. As per the latest report from Cartoq, it is reported that Hyundai might launch the facelifted version of Creta in India by this month itself probably May 23 or 24. It is also rumored that some dealers across the country has already started taking unofficial pre-bookings for the upcoming Creta SUV. The new Hyundai Creta 2018 facelift will be the second product from Hyundai for the year 2018 followed by new Elite i20 that was launched earlier this year at Auto Expo. Expected to sport major cosmetic updates, the new Hyundai Creta will carry similar design cues as that of the one seen in the international markets like Brazil and other American markets. With the rumors doing rounds in the market, it is also speculated that the deliveries for the new 2018 Hyundai Creta SUV will commence from next month.
The new Hyundai Creta 2018 Facelift will sport new hexagonal grille with chrome embellishments along with updated headlamps featuring LED DRLs. The SUV will sport dual tone paint scheme on the front as well as rear bumper. It is also reported that the SUV will be offered with a sunroof on the top-end model only. On the inside, the overall appeal of the SUV is expected to be accentuated by new features and new upholstery. On the mechanical front, the facelifted version of Hyundai Creta will see no mechanical upgrades, carrying forward the same set of engine as seen on the current model. The petrol variants will be equipped with a 1.6-litre VTVT petrol engine while the diesel versions will be seen with a choice of two engine - 1.4-litre & 1.6-litre CRDi diesel engines. Transmission duties on both the engines will be carried out by manual and automatic gearbox. Expected to be launched in the country around 15th May (however unconfirmed yet), the prices for the SUV will be announced at the launch event itself. However, we speculate that the prices for the SUV will go up marginally falling in the price bracket of Rs. 9.5 lakh to 15 lakh (ex-showroom).
